Application Deadlines

The application deadlines for the full-time MBA program remain unchanged at this time. There are three remaining deadlines for the program starting in January 2021:

  • May 1st
  • July 1st
  • September 1st
Test Centers

Many test centers across the world have been forced to close due to the COVID-19 virus. If you are unable to take your test before the May 1st deadline, we encourage you to submit without your test results. The MBA Admissions Committee will begin to assess your application based on the strength of all other information while waiting for the test centers to reopen.

Latest updates for the different test centers

Registration for online testing is already available for certain countries

  • Online TOEFL® testing is scheduled to begin on March 26
  • Online GRE testing will begin on March 27

Assessment Process

In response to the current situation, and the safety of all, many of our assessment days for the February 1st deadline were conducted online. We will continue to offer this option for as long as it is needed.

Our online assessments have been designed to change as little as possible from the standard format. They offer a mutual opportunity to get to know each other better, and allow us to develop our understanding of the unique aspects that you will bring to the program.  They include a team case exercise, spontaneous individual presentations, and an interview with a member of our Admissions team.

Final Response

Candidates who demonstrate the qualities that we look for throughout the application process, but who have been unable to submit their GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/IELTS test results due to the closure of local test centers, will be given a Conditional Offer dependant on the score received once test options are made available.

The IMD MBA Recruitment and Admissions team are committed to helping applicants to adapt to their individual circumstances during the challenges we all face during the COVID-19 crisis.
