IMD launches new range of executive certificates

The university institute’s four tailored learning journeys – from digital- and sustainability-focused leadership to upskilling – will be recognized as Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS).

In the face of a constantly changing business landscape, IMD has designed an innovative selection of executive programs to meet business leaders’ growing demand for certification.

The revamped portfolio of executive qualifications features a 360° program for executive development, a set of online certificates, and programs with an in-depth focus on two crucial aspects of modern business: digital transformation and sustainability.

“It is in IMD’s DNA not to settle for what’s already out there, but to constantly gauge how the business world is evolving and what executives are looking for,” says Dean of Innovation and Programs David Bach.

“These certificates are a response to today’s business leaders’ needs: to demonstrate that they are upskilling while simultaneously navigating rapidly changing industries.” Having recently been accredited as a university institute by the Swiss Accreditation Council, IMD has categorized the four programs as Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS). Participants will, therefore, receive European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits upon completion.

The programs are:

“This new portfolio of executive certificates not only reflects some of our key thematic priorities but also embodies the commitment to personalization, flexibility, and adaptability that are at the core of what IMD’s learning journeys stand for,” says Bach. “To be able to recognize these certificates as CAS programs is a formal testament to the level of excellence for which we are constantly striving.”
