Frustrated by the limitations of using technology to do good in the non-profit sector, Lotta Relander decided to found Grownate, a digital platform that helps corporates and brands connect with their customers to make a positive social and environmental impact.

The platform includes a loyalty program and donation tool to jointly raise money for a good cause and helps brands raise awareness of their commitment to sustainability.

Relander and Grownate’s CEO Andrea Fritschi discuss the challenge of finding the right decision-makers within big companies when pitching your product, as well as their long-term aim of triggering organizational change and reducing the barriers to doing good.
