Unlock senior leadersâ competitive edge: how AI elevates decision-making, coaching, and talent management - while mitigating cognitive offloading and bias....

Many large businesses have recently announced entry-level hiring cuts, citing AI as a driving factor. For example, Business Insider reported that the number of entry-level associates at PwCâs US business would fall by nearly a third by 2028, with the rest of the âBig Fourâ accountancy firms showing similar patterns â but slashing entry-level roles risks weakening the pipeline of future managers and even executive-level leadership.
Most businesses design entry-level roles in line with the short-term demands of the business. In the AI age, they must be viewed as a means to develop future leaders. Organizations culling entry-level roles should be wary of draining the future leadership talent pool.
