Experience & Background: Josefine is a multinational and multilingual Executive in Human Resources. Her career has taken her to Fortune 500 organizations in various industries: IT- HP, Energy - RDS (Royal Dutch Shell), Life Sciences - DSM, and Construction - LafargeHolcim. Her responsibilities included designing impactful strategies and overseeing their successful implementation in: Leadership & organization development, culture change, and diversity & inclusion.

In her leadership roles, she favored business-based approaches which delivered tangible and measurable results. A strong believer in continuous improvement, she enjoys leading and developing global teams, and is a role model for inclusive, virtual team management. Ms. van Zanten is an extensive speaker in both academic and business venues and has worked with Ivy League Universities to co-deliver courses and contribute to academic articles. She is a member of the European AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Advisory Board, the Maastricht University - School of Business and Economics’ International Advisory Board (IAB), as well as a member of the EEAC (Executive Education Advisory Council) at IMD.
