Experience & Background: Peter has over 30 years of general management experience in the FMCG industry with particular focus on the commercial area and more recently in HR. He ran businesses and companies in Asia (Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore) as well as in Europe (Switzerland, Germany, Nordic countries). From 2013 until his retirement in 2018 he was Group HR Head of Nestle SA and served as a member of its Executive Board. He currently chairs the Nestle Pension Fund and Nestle Germany, supports a few start-up companies and is a member of several not-for-profit boards in the area of dual education, senior citizen support and human resources.

Peter’s expertise includes managing in culturally diverse environments, business transformation, merger integration as well as talent management and compensation. He initiated and managed the HR transformation at Nestle and supported the refocusing of the company. His belief is that any successful organization must be purpose- and value-driven, connected to its ecosystem, focused on added value to its clients and operationally lean and aligned towards its goals.

Peter studied business management and economics at University St. Gallen and London School of Economics with a focus on Finance & Accounting (lic.oec. HSG). His executive development included several IMD courses like PED (Program for Executive Development) and BPSE.
