Riad Sherif is a true expert in his field. Trained as a doctor, his drive to succeed in business led him to pharmaceuticals and a successful 25-year career at corporate giants like Sanofi and Novartis.
In 2017, he joined the Swiss startup Oculis and as CEO he’s steered the biotech company to financial and regulatory success.
Oculis is developing a non-invasive treatment for diabetes-induced blindness which, if successful, could improve access to care for millions. In May, the company secured a $57 million financing round enabling it to expand its groundbreaking medical research.
