ACE Zurich chapter is pleased to present interactive discussion on "New business models  disrupting the Automotive Industry".

A leading Report “Rethinking Transportation” expects that “By 2030, 95% of U.S. passenger miles traveled will be served by on-demand autonomous electric vehicles owned by fleets, not individuals, in a new business model we call “transport-as-a-service” (TaaS). The total vehicle fleet size will drop by over 80%, from 247 million vehicles in 2020 to 44 million in 2030”.

This event is the opportunity to discuss the entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities to transform individual mobility and the impending changes on an industry that reacted too late to congestion, pollution and Global Warming.

Event agenda:

  • The biggest disruption in the century-old automotive industry, José García Santamaría
  • Entrepreneurship challenges and Opportunities of Mobility on Demand, Dr. Jan-Olaf Willums
  • Urban Connect, changing the way we commute to work. Judith Häberli
  • Parquery, Image analysis as a service for smart mobility applications, Andrea Fossati
  • New mobility ventures – behind the scenes at Urban Connect and Parquery
