Harry J. Paarsch

Harry J. Paarsch is Professor of Business Analytics at the University of Central Florida, where he helped develop the university’s master’s program in business analytics in collaboration with the Department of Statistics. An economist and statistician by training, he holds a BA (First Class Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University and an MS in Statistics and PhD in Economics from Stanford University. His research spans econometrics, auctions, finance, industrial organization, labor economics, and analytics. Paarsch has held academic appointments at leading universities in North America, Europe, and Australia, and previously worked as an economist at Amazon. He is the author of several MIT Press books on auctions, econometrics, and computational methods.
