    What is the SID Accreditation?

    The SID (Singapore Institute of Directors) Director Accreditation Programme supports SID’s mission to uplift the directorship profession by:

    1. Establishing standards for director competency
    2. Providing directors with structured development pathways to acquire essential knowledge, proficiency, and attributes.
    3. Enabling directors to stay relevant over time through continuous professional development.
    4. Communicating director competencies to boards looking to appoint directors.

    Who is eligible for this accreditation?

    All alumni of IMD’s Mastering Board Governance program are eligible to apply directly for the SID Director Accreditation under the qualification pathway—provided they are current members of SID. As Mastering Board Governance is a recognized qualification, alumni of this IMD program need not sit for the SID Accreditation examination to become accredited.

    I’m not a member of SID. Can I still apply?

    You must first become a member of SID before submitting your accreditation application. You can join SID here: www.sid.org.sg/membership.

    What is the benefit of applying now?

    I am a SID member – do I get a discount on IMD’s Mastering Board Governance?

    IMD is offering 10% discount on the upcoming Mastering Board Governance program starting on 27 October 2025 for all SID members.

    To apply the discount, please email [email protected] before registering for the program. The IMD team will assist you with the discount application during the invoice process

    Is this offer available after 30 September 2025?

    The exclusive promotional price is only valid during the stated period. After 30 September 2025, regular fees will apply.
