An exclusive summit where board leaders and world-class expertise come together

The IMD–Egon Zehnder Board Summit is a three day gathering for chairs and board members of leading companies. Carefully curated, it creates the conditions for high-level exchange among peers who know what it takes to lead at board level.

Developed jointly by IMD and Egon Zehnder, every edition is built around the specific challenges and priorities of its participants, with a new agenda each year.  Through in-depth conversations ahead of the Summit, the agenda is shaped to ensure discussions are both relevant and actionable, covering topics such as geopolitics, technological innovation and AI, stakeholder pressure, succession management, board effectiveness and director self-leadership.

Participants engage with leading IMD faculty, senior partners from Egon Zehnder, selected guest speakers, and a Chairs’ Circle of accomplished chairs from major global companies, bringing together governance research and practical board expertise.
