IMD will host a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) in collaboration with the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ) on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, as part of the AMJ Editors’ Retreat. The workshop will be co-hosted by IMD’s Murat Tarakci, Professor of Innovation Strategy and Tim Quigley, Professor of Strategic Leadership and Governance.
This workshop offers a valuable opportunity to engage with the AMJ editorial team, receive feedback on your work, and gain insights into the publication process at a leading academic journal.
The PDW program
- Opening remarks from the AMJ Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editors.
- A session on navigating the publication process.
- Dedicated feedback sessions on research projects.
- A session on creating research impact with contributions from the Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, and MIT Sloan Management Review.
Call for submissions
You are invited to submit your work for consideration. Selected participants will have the opportunity to present their papers and receive detailed feedback from AMJ editors.
