Join us for this year’s IMD Discovery Event: Strategic clarity in an uncertain world , a two-day high-impact executive experience led exclusively by Professor Arnaud Chevallier, Professor of Strategy at IMD. This immersive event is designed to transform how leaders think, decide, and act when the path forward is unclear.
Across two highly interactive sessions, you will gain practical approaches to navigating complex choices and develop sharper judgment in uncertain environments.
In Session 1: Decision Making Under Uncertainty, Professor Chevallier explores the evidence-action paradox that leaders frequently face: the evidence needed to choose a path forward often becomes clear only after action must be taken. He highlights the behavioral biases that can cloud judgment and introduces a structured three-step process with guiding principles to help leaders remain decisive amid ambiguity.
In Session 2: Smarter Questions for Smarter Decisions, Professor Chevallier invites leaders to reflect on the questions they rely on today and discover five types of questions that support stronger decision making. You will leave with concrete methods to develop and adapt your question mix to the specific decisions you face —on your own and within teams—to make better decisions in evolving contexts.
