No family is immune
Join us for an engaging conversation and Q&A!
Join us for the launch of the Global Family Enterprise Mental Health Report, a groundbreaking collaboration between IMD, Family Enterprise Legacy Institute (FELI), and FBN.
Despite growing attention to mental health in organizations, there is still limited understanding of how mental health conditions affect enterprising families and their family enterprises. Mental health is often understood as a personal or private issue, but in family enterprises, its effects can extend across the family, business operations, governance and the ownership group.
This webinar will provide a first look at the results of a pioneering international survey, with data collected from family enterprise members across 37 countries. The report offers new insights into an understudied issue, with implications for family business owners, next generation members, advisors and researchers.
About the report
The Global Family Enterprise Mental Health Report is a first-of-its-kind study exploring mental health conditions among business families and their implications for the enterprise. Drawing on survey responses from 246 family enterprise members, the report offers key findings about the disclosure of mental health conditions, how these conditions can affect business operations, and the impact on the broader enterprise, including for governance and in the ownership group.
With a goal towards offering research-backed guidance, the report proposes a set of practical approaches that may be applicable across a range of situations within enterprising families.
This report represents the first phase of a larger, multi-phase research project exploring the implications of mental health conditions for enterprising families and family enterprises.
