IMD business school for management and leadership courses

CEO Mark Zuckerberg underscored AI as a core strategic focus, calling 2025 “a defining year for AI” with $65bn invested to drive Meta’s future products and business.  Meta created a new top-level AI leadership role by appointing Alexandr Wang (ex-Scale AI CEO) as its Chief AI Officer, co-leading the Meta Superintelligence Labs to spearhead ambitious AI initiatives.  The company is also heavily investing in AI infrastructure, and in 2025 tested its first in-house AI training chip in a bid to decrease its reliance on NVIDIA.

Meta launched the Meta AI assistant across its products and introduced a standalone Meta AI app.  It is reshaping its workforce by hiring AI talent and launching employee upskilling programs. Accelerate Eng Talent, for instance, is a 12-month program fast-tracking new PhD hires into AI specialists.  It also emphasizes Responsible AI through red-team testing, fairness and transparency guidelines, and collaborations on “Safety by Design” standards to prevent misuse.
