IMD Statement on Ukraine

At IMD our mission is to develop leaders who foster a prosperous, sustainable and inclusive world. Essential to the success of this mission is peace.

We condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We stand with the people of Ukraine whose lives have been violently uprooted by this brutal war. We also recognize that there are many Russian people around the world who reject this aggression.

Our world requires leaders whose actions are inspired by progressive values, who can work effectively across boundaries and sources of disagreement. As the impact of this conflict widens, we hope that reason, wisdom and above all humanity will prevail.

While many of us feel powerless and helpless when confronted with such tragedy, there are ways for us to offer help to the people in Ukraine affected by the crisis. Here a few links to humanitarian organizations that provide tangible support onsite to those most in need:
