The IMD MBA assessment has been specifically designed to offer a more in-depth, mutual opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We will be looking to develop our understanding of the unique aspects that you will bring to the program. You should equally take this time to assess our culture, teaching style, network and vision because we want you to be able to get the most out of this year as possible.
When choosing your application deadline, ensure you leave enough time to fully prepare in advance while also bearing in mind any other constraints that will influence your decision timing.
|2021 Application Deadline||Interview Decision by||Final Decision by|
|February 1||February 15||March 26|
|May 1||May 14||June 25|
|July 1||July 15||August 26|
|September 1||September 15||October 26|
Once we have reviewed your application, successful candidates will be invited for an interview and further assessment, which will include an elevator pitch, a team experience, class observation (where possible) and networking with our participants or alumni and members of the MBA team.
The majority of our assessment days take place here on campus so that you have the chance to explore and get a feel for the area. However, we also organise international assessment days.
In order to limit disruption for our applicants as far as possible during the COVID-19 crisis, we are maintaining our deadlines, and will adapt the assessment process as necessary.
This may result in online assessments being offered, with virtual individual and team exercises. In cases where the candidate is unable to submit their GMAT/GRE/TOEFL/IELTS test scores due to the closure of test centers, a conditional offer may be made dependant on the score received once test centers reopen.

We have IMD scholarships that are awarded with each deadline, if you would like to be considered, please look at the different options and criteria on our Scholarship Page.
Soon after acceptance of our offer and payment of the first deposit, you will be asked to pass a background check, where an external company will check the authenticity of your degrees and work history (including most recent salary).
