Tokio Marine Holdings (TMHD) has been using AI to enhance operational efficiency as well as its business models. In April 2025, the company launched “One-AI,” an internal generative AI platform that supports employee tasks in document creation and report summarization. In August 2025, it partnered with Salesforce Japan to integrate AI into its contact centers and claims workflows via its agentic AI platform, Agentforce™.  

To ensure ethical deployment, TMHD introduced a group-wide AI governance policy in June 2025, emphasizing transparency, fairness, human oversight, and privacy, alongside an AI governance consulting service and responsible AI training programs. It also launched a client-facing AI Governance Consulting Service (Tokio Marine dR) in February 2025 to promote the safe and ethical use of AI.
