Stellantis is embedding generative AI (GenAI) across its core operations to drive smart mobility, efficiency, and sustainability. Through an expanded partnership with Mistral AI, the company is deploying conversational AI in vehicles via an intelligent voice assistant that serves as a real-time user manual.
Mistral’s models are also used to optimize parts databases, monitor manufacturing quality, and analyze fleet performance. Internally, AI enhances multilingual support and workflow automation through tools like Club Stellantis™. These innovations align with Stellantis’s goal to lead in AI-powered mobility.
AI is central to Stellantis’s Dare Forward 2030 strategy, particularly in smart factory transformation. Pilots in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana use predictive maintenance, robotics, and real-time analytics to reduce downtime, boost precision, and cut emissions. The STLA technology suite – STLA Brain™, STLA SmartCockpit™, and STLA AutoDrive™ – further integrates AI into vehicle architecture, enabling secure over-the-air updates, AI-powered interfaces, and Level 3 autonomy.
An AI Governance Policy, issued in January 2025, ensures transparency, fairness, and human oversight across all deployments. Responsible use is reinforced through technical compliance reviews, social-environmental assessments, and active supplier risk management.
