Lockheed Martin has advanced AI adoption across its internal operations, products, workforce development, and governance practices. Internally, the company deployed LMText Navigator (enterprise secure generative-AI tooling) to boost developer and analytic productivity and expanded use of its AI Factory, an internal model-training, validation, and deployment ecosystem used by thousands of engineers to accelerate modeling, simulation, engineering, and maintenance workflows. In December 2024, Lockheed established Astris AI, a subsidiary dedicated to accelerating secure AI adoption across defense and select commercial sectors.
