Time 17:00 - 19:00
Speaker(s) Jennifer Petriglieri, Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour, INSEAD

Sigmund Freud described love and work as the “cornerstones of our humanness”. Yet, as anyone who is part of a dual career couple can attest, succeeding at both is hardly straightforward.
In this session, Jennifer Petriglieri will share some of the findings from her ongoing research on dual career couples. She will touch on the changing nature of romance and careers, question the myth of the “perfect relationship” and offer some practical insights for those navigating love and work.
The session will begin with a talk, followed by an interactive discussion in which Jennifer is as (if not more) interested in hearing the dilemmas, interests and views of attendees as she is in sharing her own reflections and findings.
Jennifer Petriglieri is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD. Her research has appeared in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Learning & Education, and the Journal of Organizational Change Management. It has also been featured in the online editions of Business Week and the Harvard Business Review.
At INSEAD, she has been awarded the Dean's commendation for teaching excellence and the MBA best teacher award. She was recently awarded a place on Poet and Quants' global ranking of Top 40 Business School Professors under 40, and was shortlisted for the Thinkers 50 Radar award.
Jennifer earned a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from INSEAD. She also holds an MBA from IMD, Switzerland, and a BSc. in genetics from Nottingham University, UK. Prior to joining INSEAD, she was a Post Doctoral Fellow of Organizational Behavior at the Harvard Business School. Having lived and worked on three continents, she is now settled in France with her husband and two children.
