IMD Startup News: OneVisage Secures Seed Funding

OneVisage, a Lausanne, Switzerland-based cybersecurity company, closed a seed financing round of undisclosed amount
March 2017

OneVisage was a winner in the IMD Startup Competition, and collaborated closely with a team of the school’s 2016 fulltime MBAs, and CEO Christophe Remillet continues to be connected to the school.

Created in 1999, the IMD Startup Competition provides a unique opportunity for startups to benefit from the help and insights from participants in the MBA and the Executive MBA programs at IMD.

Backers for OneVisage included Polytech Ecosystem Ventures, SICPA Finance and angels including Maxim Lyadvinsky.  Mr. Lyadvinsky is a graduate of IMD’s EMBA program.

The company intends to use the funds to secure sales and R&D talents to bring 3DAuth™ technology to a first production-ready version and enable initial production later this year.

Founded in 2013 by Christophe Remillet, OneVisage is advancing a 3D facial authentication technology running on consumer-grade mobile devices that aims to enable financial services, Identity & Access Management providers and cybersecurity integrators to reduce identity theft and transaction abandonments.

The solution has early adopters in banks in USA and Switzerland.
