IMD has reclaimed the top spot in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2026–2027 ranking of MBAs in Europe and the Middle East, returning to the position it held in 2024.

Across the four indexes that make up the ranking, IMD led the region in Learning and Networking, placing third for Entrepreneurship and fifth for Compensation.

It is the sixth time since 2017 that IMD has topped the ranking, including twice in the past three years.

“This recognition reflects the strength of IMD’s hands-on approach to learning and our focus on creating real impact for participants, companies, and society,” said Alyson Meister, Dean of Degree Programs and Hilti Professor of Leadership at IMD.

“We are especially proud to see gains across learning and networking, underscoring the quality of the MBA experience and our commitment to equipping students with the skills, network, and entrepreneurial mindset to lead with confidence,” added Meister.

This year’s ranking is based on surveys of MBA participants from the classes of 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2025, as well as employers who hired MBA graduates over the past three years.
