Accelerating leader and team transitions: The First 90 Days
On this Discovery Event, Professor Michael Watkins will explore what it takes to accelerate transitions at the individual leader and team levels. Transitions into new roles are challenging for leaders as they must simultaneously get up the leading curve and begin to impact their new organizations. Most leaders don’t get to build their teams from scratch; instead, they must rapidly assess the people they inherited and evolve them into the teams they need to be successful. The session will include introductions to The Transition Roadmap for making successful leader transition and the Team Development Accelerator Framework.
