What is an IMD Sprint?

IMD Sprint is a new, accelerated learning experience, distilling the solutions to your biggest business challenges into compact, high-quality sessions of 1-2 hours per day, delivered online over 1-2 weeks. The project-based sprints teach you valuable frameworks and tools that you will apply in real time. The Sprint integrates faculty-led, liVe virtual interactive classroom with self-paced study. You receive IMD certification on successful completion.

Is there homework?

Yes, you will be asked to apply the learning concepts to your business via a range of exercises, toolkits and templates. You will need to submit the completed templates for peer review to receive IMD certification.

What’s the Sprint time commitment? I work full-time so need to be sure I can dedicate the time.

On average you can expect to invest 15-30 hours in total over 1-2 weeks depending on your choice of Sprint.

I live in a totally different time zone! Can I join a sprint?

Yes, the liVe sessions will also be recorded in case you cannot attend at the indicated time.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

To be eligible for certification, you are required to complete all course content and submit your assignment for peer review.

Classroom
Can I ask questions to faculty and guest speakers during a live class?

Yes, there is a chat function for you to ask your questions during sessions.

Do I have to attend all the live sessions in real-time?

No, sessions will be recorded in case you cannot attend live.

I missed the live class. Will the recording be available to watch?

Yes, sessions are recorded.

How long will I have access to the course materials?

The materials will be available for two weeks after the program finishes.

I didn’t finish the Sprint. Can I still hand in my project in and gain certification?

You are required to view all course content and submit your assignment for peer review within the time frame of the program to be eligible for certification.

I am enrolled in a Sprint, but I haven’t received access to any of the materials. How do I access them?

Will I be eligible to join the IMD alumni community after completion of my Sprint?

No, the requirements for IMD alumni status can be found here: https://www.imd.org/alumni/alumni-policy/

Payment and refunds
I can no longer attend the Sprint. Can I transfer to a future sprint or receive a refund?

You receive a full refund if you cancel 14 days or more before the Sprint starts by sending an email to [email protected]. You can re-register for future Sprints.

Do you offer discounts for IMD alumni?

Alumni discounts do not apply to Sprint programs.

Do you offer scholarships?

Scholarships are not currently available for Sprints.
