Our business context is prone to constant and dynamic transformation. Yet the way we think about talent remains tied to certain dominant ideas and narratives: that the problem is a lack of talent, or the right kind of talent. At IMD we want to challenge this thinking. We want to forge a wholly new dialogue around the way we source, develop and transform talent—dynamic talent that in turns transforms organizations. The Strategic Talent Solutions Initiative is a platform for dissent, new perspectives, new lines of research and the creation of new frameworks, tools and metrics to transform and measure talent. We convene experts from industry and academia, from IMD and beyond, with a shared commitment: to change the conversation on talent for the 21st century.
