Amy Edmondson 

Amy C. Edmondson is the Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School, focusing on human interactions that drive successful enterprises. Ranked #1 by Thinkers50 in 2021 and 2023, she has also received their Breakthrough Idea Award (2019) and Talent Award (2017). Amy’s research on teaming, psychological safety, and organizational learning appears in top journals like Harvard Business Review. Her 2019 book, “The Fearless Organization”, is translated into 15 languages, while her latest, “Right Kind of Wrong” (2023), offers a framework for embracing failure. Before academia, she was Director of Research at Pecos River Learning Centers and Chief Engineer for Buckminster Fuller. She holds a PhD in organizational behavior, AM in psychology, and AB in engineering and design, all from Harvard.
