Lafarge and WWF have established the first conservation partnership between an industrial company and a conservation organization. They successfully collaborate on issues such as quarry rehabilitation, energy consumption and environmental performance indicators. The partnership is put to the test when the parties cannot agree on Lafarge’s carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction commitment.
