Through its continuous engagement model, IMD NEXUS enables its partners to quickly activate different IMD experts (IMD Faculty, Executives in Residence, IMD Advisors and Pedagogical Experts) in the capacity of a sounding board & sparring partner, to explore emerging challenges and opportunities in a safe and neutral space.
Advisory through IMD NEXUS can come in multiple formats throughout the partnership, in the form of short interventions and projects including: “ad-hoc” advisory discussions and short interventions in the form of diagnostics, assessments, and workshops.
Our approach draws on IMD’s unique combination of academic and business insights and is grounded in IMD’s mission of `challenging what is, and inspiring what could be´ – we support our partners through a process of creating intimacy and trust by understanding your specific needs & context and enabling results by empowering your own people.
An Internal/External Advisory Loop – Providing feedback, guidance, and inspiration is not limited to a role IMD plays in supporting its partners, it is also a role that IMD’s key external partners play for IMD, through the EEAC. This unique council of key corporate partners acts as a formal feedback channel to help shape the direction and innovation of IMD’s research, pedagogy, and programs.
By invitation only - Be invited to shape IMD’s future as a member of the Executive Education Advisory Council (EEAC), an advisory board that reviews, shapes and influences the institute’s teaching and research activities. During this exclusive yearly gathering, designated representatives from IMD NEXUS member companies meet to provide qualified feedback to IMD and identify how IMD can best serve their executive education needs.
The council is led by a chairman who is approved by IMD’s Foundation Board. The current Executive Education Advisory Council chairman is Mr. Eivind Slaaen, Global Head of People & Culture Development, Hilti Corporation.
