Lee is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Sulzer, a Swiss‐listed global fluid engineering company. Prior to her taking the Group CFO role in April 2018, Ms Lee served as a member of the non‐executive Board of Directors of Sulzer for 7 years and had been the Chairwoman of the Audit Committee. Since 2020, she is a non‐executive Director on the Board of Schneider Electric. From 2017 to 2020, Ms Lee was a member of the Supervisory Board of Signify (formerly known as Philips Lighting) and Chairwoman of the Audit Committee.

Beginning her executive career in Singapore in 1986, Ms Lee went on to build an international career whereby she spent several years heading CFO functions in China, followed by global strategic positions in Germany and Switzerland.

From 2015 to 2018, she was the Group Senior Vice President and Head of Next Level Program Management of ABB where she led several transformation initiatives. During 2012 to 2014, she was Senior Vice President and CFO for ABB China and North Asia Region. Prior to this, she served as Senior Vice President, Finance Strategy and Investments for Neptune Orient Lines in Singapore (2010 to 2011). She has also held a number of positions with Siemens, including Group Chief Diversity Officer (2008 to 2010), CFO and Senior Executive Vice President of Siemens in China (2004 to 2008), CFO and Senior Vice President of Siemens in Singapore (2000 to 2004) and General Manager for Siemens Electromechanical Components business unit in Singapore (1997 to 2000). In the early years of her career, Ms Lee held finance roles in AT&T and Tyco Electronics in Singapore.

Ms Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National University of Singapore and an MBA from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She is a member on the advisory board of Nanyang Business School in Singapore.
