AI is transforming industries at breakneck speed and reshaping sustainability along the way. From slashing emissions through smarter logistics to revolutionizing energy efficiency, AI holds extraordinary promise for a net-zero future. But behind the scenes, AI’s environmental footprint is growing fast. Energy-hungry data centers, skyrocketing resource use, and mounting e-waste threaten to undermine its potential. As a result, the tools we’re counting on to solve our sustainability challenges may be exacerbating our climate challenge.

Join our world class experts on AI and sustainability for an interactive session

Join our experts Julia Binder and Michael Wade for a high-level executive session hosted by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and come away with the clarity and insight to lead through this next wave of disruption. The event will be moderated by James Gomme, Senior Director, Education & Member of the WBCSD Extended Leadership Group.

Why this matters now

AI is no longer a promising technology far off on the horizon: it’s here and helping reshape business models, operations, supply chains, and customer expectations.
