Mobilizing People
An advanced leadership development program: From self-discovery to team empowerment
The journey to great leadership begins with self-awareness. IMD’s Mobilizing People program helps you achieve the clarity that will transform how you connect with, mobilize, and inspire others.
On this program, you step into challenging unscripted leadership situations that serve as powerful mirrors – revealing the signals you send and the responses you evoke. You have the space to slow down, observe what’s really happening, and explore what drives your reactions, your influence, and your presence. You explore the “inner game” – self-awareness, authenticity, and personal growth – and the “outer game” of energizing and mobilizing people to achieve organizational goals.
Working mainly in groups, you discover the hidden dynamics that affect teams and their performance. Suddenly, you see yourself through the eyes of others and recognize the habits and assumptions that influence your impact on them.
Deep reflection and constructive feedback from your expert coach and peers expose blind spots and long-held patterns of behavior that could be holding you back. This work is not always easy, but what you uncover in those moments, combined with practical tools to turn your insights into action, can change how you lead forever.
Mobilizing People has transformed leaders since 1987 and constantly evolves to reflect new realities. It offers you a rare opportunity to focus introspectively, re-energize, and make choices about the kind of leader – and human – you want to be.
