Bo Risberg has served as CEO of the Hilti Corporation since January 2007.

After training as a mechanical engineer at Queen’s University (Canada), Mr Risberg worked as an applications engineer for Flakt Canada Ltd (1981-1987) before moving to various management positions within the ABB Group: Director of Marketing, Pulp and Paper Systems, ABB Flakt Ross Inc, Canada (1988-1989), Vice President, Business Development and Finance, ABB Inc, Canada (1990-1993), and General Manager, Automotive Division, ABB Fläkt Industri AG, Sweden (1994-1995). He worked as a management consultant for AT Kearney in Sweden (1995-1999) then joined Hilti in 1999 as Senior Vice President Business Unit Drilling and Demolition. Prior to his current position he was a member of the Executive Board (2001-2007), responsible for the business areas, the supply chain and new business and technology.

Mr. Risberg received his MBA from IMD in 1990.

Since 2010, Bo Risberg is a Member of the Board of Directors of Trelleborg AB, Sweden.
