How to thrive in a fractious world
Join us on campus 3-4 October for the Alumni Symposium
The rise in geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain weaponization, and regulatory fragmentation is not a temporary challenge, it’s a fundamental shift in the operating landscape that demands a transformation in how we lead and compete.
As governments increasingly treat markets as theaters for power projection rather than neutral arenas for exchange, forward-looking executives must master geopolitical analysis and strategy, not just the classic commercial logic that served us so well for decades.
At this symposium, we will explore what this means for you and give you the strategic frameworks and geopolitical fluency essential for thriving in globalization’s fractious next chapter.
Your agenda
Friday, 3 October begins with critical context-setting as IMD President David Bach frames why geopolitics has become the defining variable in international business. A headline dialogue between Børge Brende (President and CEO of the World Economic Forum) and Professor Bach will dissect the strategic imperatives facing business in a multipolar world.
Saturday, 4 October focuses on actionable intelligence that you can put to work:
- Global Flash Briefing: Richard Baldwin offers analysis of the geopolitical flashpoints and macro trends reshaping the marketplace
- C-Suite Perspective: Board-level insights on how geopolitics impacts everything from supply chain resilience to tech sovereignty
- Alumni War Stories: IMD alumni share how they’ve transformed geopolitical exposure into competitive advantage across industries and regions
Join us on campus and be part of the change that shapes our future.
