Dato’ Luqman Ahmad is the Deputy Secretary General (Sectorial) at the Ministry of Economy, Malaysia. With nearly three decades in public service, he has led key initiatives in macroeconomic policy, development planning, and human capital strategy. His portfolio spans economic forecasting, industrial development, environmental economics, and coordination of Malaysia’s sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Prior to this, Dato’ Luqman served as Director of Human Capital Development at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and held senior roles at the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister’s Department. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, a diploma in Public Administration, and a Master of Economics from UKM.

Nora Manaf is a distinguished leader and advisor, serving on multiple national committees and boards across finance, education, and industry sectors. As an Adjunct Professor at several Malaysian universities, including UUM, UKM, and UiTM, she bridges academia and industry while holding influential roles such as Past President of the Malayan Commercial Banks’ Association and member of key national advisory councils.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with advanced credentials from Cornell and Harvard, Nora is also a recognized global HR professional and mentor, championing women’s leadership initiatives. Her expertise spans finance, human resources, and sustainability, earning her numerous prestigious awards and solidifying her reputation as a transformative leader in Malaysia’s corporate and education landscapes.

Ambassador Chantel Moser brings over two decades of diplomatic and economic expertise. She has held senior roles across the UK, EU, and Latin America, leading key negotiations and shaping international policy. Her global perspective and leadership enrich our panel with valuable insights on international collaboration.

Mr. Farid Basir is the Group Chief People Officer of MBSB Bank, with over two decades of HR leadership experience across industries including telecommunications, insurance, FMCG, and banking. He has held key roles both in Malaysia and abroad, including expatriate assignments in Switzerland, South Africa, and the Philippines. A returning expert under TalentCorp’s REP, he previously served as Chief Human Capital Officer at Bank Rakyat and Telekom Malaysia. Farid holds certifications from top global institutions such as Cambridge, Oxford, INSEAD, and IMD, and has earned four global HR credentials. He has been internationally recognized for his contributions to Islamic finance and human capital, and actively advocates for youth leadership development through roles in MEF, MPC, NLAC, and TalentCorp.
