Alex Guest - President

After 25 years in both corporate and startup environments, Alex now runs a boutique digital consultancy helping ambitious clients achieve their goals of rapid growth. Alex has an MBA (2007) from IMD, and a BA (Hons) in Classics from Oxford University. He competes in masters athletics.


Harry Mann - Treasurer

Harry’s career started in the oil and gas industry when he joined Shell after studying chemistry at Cambridge University. His finance career took him to Oman and Thailand as well as the UK and he worked in upstream, downstream and petrochemicals. His involvement with IMD started when he attended a company course there in 2003 and he was President of the UK Club from 2008 to 2012. After leaving the oil and gas sector he worked in a mining company and a workplace consultancy. He now spends his time working on local voluntary projects and playing tennis. He is married with three children.


Nathalie Britten

Nathalie Britten is an Executive Leadership and Career coach whose goal is to empower individuals to be themselves, inspire others and excel while at the same time being happy and fulfilled both personally and professionally. Besides being a member of the executive coaching team for Sika Group and a program coach on various leadership programs at IMD Business School, Nathalie’s private clients have included mid to senior executives from companies such as ABB Group, Hilti Corporation, Cisco, McCann, Chargifi, and Glanbia. Nathalie holds the accreditation of PCC (Professional Certified Coach)through the International Coach Federation. She is also a Certified Facilitator of LEGO® Serious Play® Methods and Materials and a licensed Firework Career Coach.


Neha Kabra

Neha got her IMD MBA in 2016. Post her MBA, she joined McKinsey & Co in London, where she focuses largely on financial services and fintech work across diverse topics - her primary focus areas being Strategy and Organisational transformation. Prior to her MBA, Neha was a Corporate banker with Standard Chartered Bank. Neha co-leads the MBA chapter for the IMD UK club with Sophie Spillard.


Jason Kaplan

Jason Kaplan is a consultant focusing on commodity forecasting. After starting in management consultant, he moved into commodities, working for well-known names in the field (CRU, Metal Bulletin, IHS Markit). In 2018, he moved into freelance consulting and set up his company Commodities Analysts & Insight to bring ad hoc advice to clients, largely focusing on metals for the electrical vehicle revolution. Jason took the IMD MBA in 2003.


Andy Rogers

Andy Rogers was a career banker with Bank of Ireland, split between Ireland and the UK. Now retired, he continues as a portfolio non-executive director and business mentor based in London. First attended IMD (IMI) in 1987 and been actively involved with the school and the Alumni Club since then. Was a member of the IMD Foundation Board for three years.


Paolo Scalco

Working for a private investment and holding company Paolo is responsible for strategy execution and overall portfolio management. He works alongside senior directors within the business overseeing corporate entrepreneurial activities and portfolio development. Paolo has 15 years’ experience in operational and strategic management in a variety of industries. He is a sport enthusiast and enjoys time outdoors with family and friends.


Sophie Spillard

Sophie Spillard has a wealth of experience in Investment Banking, focusing on M&A transactions in the industrial sector. Her experience includes working with a range of private equity houses on all stages of fund investment. Sophie has a passion for furthering access to education; this is reflected in her position as ambassador for CENIT - a charity in Quito, Ecuador which provides schooling for vulnerable children. As a keen sportswoman, Sophie practises karate to competitive level; she has won several medals for team and individual categories at the Japan Karate Association’s Open National Championships. Sophie holds an MBA from IMD Business School and a Masters in Geophysics from Imperial College London. Together with Neha Kabra, Sophie co-leads the MBA program for the IMD UK alumni club.


Nick Toubkin

Nick is a Senior Client Director at Strabens Hall Ltd, which is a boutique wealth advisory firm based in London and France. The company was named ‘Financial Advisory Firm of the Year’ in 2018 and 2019.

Nick specialises in advice around investment management, financial planning and clients’ broad structuring needs both onshore and offshore. Nick also specialises in complex tax focussed investments.

Nick joined the Strabens Hall London office from Tilney Group where he advised high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to that Nick spent over eight years at Coutts where he was latterly a Director in the Wealth Management division.

He holds an MBA from IMD Business School, and a BA from University College London, where he also spent a semester studying at the Sorbonne, Paris.

He was named a Gold Future Leaders Award 2017 by Citywealth,

When not at work, Nick enjoys, travelling, yoga and running, having completed the London Marathon for charity in 2019.


Anna Valle

Anna is a global business leader who has lived in 5 countries, 2 continents, working for FMCG and start-ups across emerging and developed markets, different sectors and diverse cultures. Her professional purpose is to create sustainable growth strategies, for amazing brands and businesses, and drive to activate them in an inclusive way.

Lori Vokes

Lori Vokes is the Senior Director of Sales go-to-market Strategy and Operations at Cisco. Currently she runs the go-to-market M&A team to drive innovation and growth and has led over 60 acquisitions and $15Bn of investment. In parallel she leads transformational projects.

During Lori’s 15 year career at Cisco she has a number of positions both in Sales and Strategy and Planning. Lori was the Director for the British Telecom account leading the global partnering business delivering over $650M in revenue. BT is a significant partnership for Cisco covering all geographies, market segments and technologies and one of the largest partners in Europe and globally. To expand her background into the consumer space, Lori also held the role of Operations Director for Linksys Service Provider where she was responsible for establishing the foundation to build and scale this business from $99M to over $400M in 3 years by selling consumer and small business solutions through targeted SPs worldwide. Lori spent many years as the Director of Strategy and Planning for Cisco EMEA where she led the development, implementation, and measurement of EMEA’s long range plan and strategic projects. Some key strategic projects were proposing and starting-up the Emerging Markets theatre which was Cisco’s fastest growing business for several years and the EMEA Vertical Go-to-Market model which was scaled globally.

Prior to Cisco Lori was a management consultant with Turnkey Management Consulting in Canada. She was also part of the founding team that started up and led Group Telecom through to IPO. Throughout her career she has worked with various industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, airline, transportation, automotive, consumer goods, and medical technologies.

Lori has a Masters of Arts from Royal Roads University (Canada) where she focused on Leadership and Growth in High Tech. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the School of Kinesiology at Queen’s University (Canada) and has attended IMD for Executive Education.
