With over 15 years of experience influencing corporate governance and sustainability frameworks and advising senior management in the US and key European markets, Julia has market-leading expertise in sustainability, reputation management, board governance and investor outreach.
Julia started her career at Institutional Shareholder Services in the US in 2001, and worked at Blackrock Investment Management in the U.K., and Camberview Partners (now PJT Camberview), a US governance and activism defence consultancy. She joined Bank J. Safra Sarasin in Zurich in 2019 within the Sustainable Investment Research team, before taking her current role in the Bank’s Sustainable Finance Development division.
She studied at the University of Strasbourg, University of Kentucky and IMD Business School, and is fluent in English, French, German and Portuguese. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, hiking and skiing.
