Aim
Will the COVID-19 pandemic leave us with a less globalized world? Will it fundamentally change how companies do business across borders? These questions have occupied much of the global business discourse ever since the burst of the pandemic, with rising doubts about the future of globalization in the aftermath of COVID-19. The reality is that the pandemic represents both a threat and an opportunity to globalization. In the face of such ambiguity, it is critical to look at the data and disregard perceptions that may be misleading.
Drawing on extensive research and the latest data, this Discovery Event covers what you really need to know about globalization. It will help you appreciate the current state of globalization and dismiss the misconceptions related to what is really changing about globalization; understand how COVID-19 is set to shift the playing field globally and how companies are organizing themselves to compete across borders in a post-pandemic world; and provide you with best and worst practices on how companies can navigate through post-pandemic globalization’s turbulences.
