Freelance UI Designer

The User Interface designer works closely with the Design, Program Marketing and Content Marketing teams. The mission of this role is to ensure the production of high-end user interfaces including the related graphical productions 

You will be involved in our Human-Centred Design process by helping us to create and evolve our digital products.
 

Key Activities: 

 

  • Create outstanding user interface designs for IMD brand and programs.
  • Contribute to constant evolution of IMD Style Guide ensuring a unique IMD brand experience across all marketing collaterals consumed online (web/info-graphic/video/publications/animations…)
  • Execute design reviews and report issues through Jira platform
     
Education:

 

  • Fine art or equivalent visual design school with specialisation in web design
  • Educated in new media or web development a plus

Competencies:  

 

  • Cutting-edge knowledge of responsive design website production
  • Understanding of UX process: user research, information architecture, wireframe,
  • Solid understanding of front-end coding: HTML, CSS and JS preferable
  • Experience in creating clickable prototypes
  • Knowledge of design productions for multi-channels campaigns (web and print)
  • Experience working with agile project management approaches and tools (SCRUM, Jira, Kanban...)
  • Fluency in English (oral and written), French a plus
     
Skills: 

 

  • Advanced skills in Sketch
  • Knowledge of content management system publication
  • Team player, always putting IMD premium brand and IMD customers interests first
  • Highly aesthetic sense
  • Acute attention to details
  • Constantly testing ideas to eliminate the non-essential
  • Comfortable with the discomfort of progressing without having all information
  • Adept at bridging creative solutions for customers expecting top quality of service
  • Able to work in Agile sprints maintaining high speed of production
  • Self-motivated, well organized
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to pitch creative ideas
     
Experience: 

 

  • 3 years of relevant experience in digital product design (apps, web, digital ecosystems)
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience with premium brands, corporate environment or having worked in agencies
  • Proven experience in conceiving responsive design websites
  • Proven experience in online graphical production
  • Experience in Agile projects coordination

Outstanding portfolio of previous work is considered more useful than specific qualifications
