IT Support Specialist

Temporary position: 12 months

The Job’s mission

Provide 1st and 2nd level IT Support to internal and external customers.

Key activities & accountabilities

  • Determine root cause of issues and communicate appropriately to internal and external customers
  • Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues
  • Install, configure and maintain hardware, software and devices (printer, iPad, etc.)
  • Act as escalation point for all requests and incidents
  • Develop and mature phone/ticket escalation processes to ensure free flowing escalation and information within the organization
  • Train and write complex documentation
  • Collaborate on various projects

Ideal profile

  • Technical CFC related to IT
  • At least five years of experience as an IT Technician
  • Experience in a multinational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems
  • Knowledge of Macs is a great plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills on computer hardware, computer software, wireless networks and communication devices
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite and common corporate software
  • English fluency is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and strong client-orientation
  • Able to work accurately under pressure
