The Job’s mission

The Digital Product Owner is responsible of creating the list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives content management system maintenance (EpiServer) and UAT as well as driving web/online marketing projects and guarantee a smooth Pardot/SalesForce and EpiServer web integration. The Product Owner is the sole person responsible for managing the product backlog.

The Digital Product Owner works closely with the Design Manager, the UX Designer & Researcher, the Designers, the IT team, the members of the MarCom and IMD teams.

Key activities & accountabilities

  • Management of web content owners (22) / editors decentralized in IMD teams
  • Lead, manage and collaborate internal and external business partners
  • Define product vision, road-map, innovation opportunities and implementation management
  • Ensure the value of the work delivered by the Development Team by clearly maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog to ensure the development team is working on stories to maximize the business value and deliver necessary fixes and functionality
  • Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the product backlog to the level needed
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders during the vision and concept development of new features
  • Provide vision and direction to functional specifications and stories
  • Guarantee a smooth Pardot/SalesForce and EpiServer web integration

Managing online products

  • Participate to workshops with UX, development leadership, business and content owners to collect the requirements, website objectives and to outline the content strategy
  • Inform the business about progress and updates for the website
  • Collect the requirements from the UX team and the stakeholders for the evolution of Episerver
  • Collect the SEO requirements requested from the Marketing Specialist team
  • Work closely together with the UAT when new functionalities are implemented
  • Management of A/B testing and personalized content

Product integration

  • Lead CMS EpiServer product evolution with different IMD teams
  • Manage integration of marketing tools offered by the CMS EpiServer
  • Lead integration between CMS and Pardot/SalesForce
  • Provide roadmap of implementation to business stakeholders

Coordination of MarCom Initiatives

  • Coordinate different types of IMD projects such as:
    • Optimization and improvements of site areas or digital services to EpiServer
    • New product launch on IMD website
  • Manage third party procurement process and related access to IMD resources

Website maintenance and report of bug fixing to IT

  • Report all online property bugs and change requests in Jira for IT
  • Ensure complete description, level of importance and level urgency

Ideal profile

Education
  • Product Owner certification PSPO I/II or CSPO®
  • Agile project management approach
  • Business process analysis and UX processes
  • Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization strategy and implementation
  • Understanding of responsive design technologies and implementation
  • Speaks and writes English fluently, ideally mother tongue. Any other language an advantage
  • Software skills: Google Analytics, JIRA, Agile tools, MS-Project, MS-Office, CMS
Experience
  • At least 10 years of working experience as product owner
  • Proven experience in coordinating online projects, across multi-disciplinary teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Experience in UX process, User research, Information Architecture is a plus
  • Proven experience in testing and UAT.
  • Proven experience in dealing with agencies
