“Challenging & shaping your strategy in a turbulent world” is an exceptional two day learning journey to challenge and shape your strategy in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) world.

Conceived following a strong demand from our program participants and families in our global network, this IMD Family Business Focus Series will be a healthy combination of classroom teaching, case studies, keynote addresses, workshops, interactive sessions as well as time for networking.

Day 1

The first day focuses on setting the context: understanding the macro-economic trends that will impact businesses in the future, as well as exploring how likely they are to hit Family Businesses at their core, challenging traditional key success factors and sustainable family conventions.

Day 2

The second day focuses on developing your strategic roadmap and exploring how to prepare your business for future turbulent times. The day will involve workshops exploring how to shape strategies for the future, how to engage your family and business leadership in building a roadmap and agenda and how to lead during times of continual change, maximizing your business chances of winning across generations.

Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 March, 2018

The IMD Family Business Focus Series is for all members of business owning families and family offices, including:

  • Active and inactive family members
  • Spouses and next generation family members
  • Senior non-family executives and board members

For ideal learning benefits, we highly recommend a multiple representation of the family with ideally at least one person per generation and two or three generations represented.
