Digital Disruption in the Financial Services Industry

The Financial Services industry represents a digital paradox. One the one hand, it is a prime target for digital disruption: it is very traditional, highly profitable, and is attracting massive investment from both small and large disruptive players. On the other hand, it has been remarkably stable and resilient in the face of disruptive threats. Many people predicted a sharp decline for traditional banks, investment firms, and insurance companies, which, for the most part, has not occurred.

Discover...

In this event, we will explore the dynamics of digital disruption in financial services, and explore response options for industry incumbents. We will pay particular attention to the growing power of Fintech ecosystems and their influence on the industry.
Is the tipping point for massive change and disruption coming? And if so, are you prepared?

This Discovery Event will be supported by research from IMD’s World Competiveness Center and IMD’s Global Center for Digital Business Transformation.

Target audience...

Financial services managers and any manager or executive struggling with how to respond to digital disruption
