Jialu Shan is a research fellow, her primary areas of interest are digital transformation and digital business models, as well as technological innovation, with a particular focus on Asian market. She obtained her PhD degree in Economics (management) from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne (HEC, Lausanne) in 2012.

Lawrence Tempel
Research assistant

Lawrence Tempel graduated with a Master’s degree in International Business and is now a research assistant at IMD’s Center for Future Readiness. His interests for innovation, future trends and analytics drives his everyday work at the center.

Zuriati Balian
Data scientist intern

Zuriati Balian is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Statistics at University of Geneva. She has more than 10 years of experience in business development in the technology sector. She joins the center as a data scientist intern, assisting the team in research and text analysis. She is passionate about data science and aspires to contribute her knowledge to the team.

Angelo Boutalikakis
External advisor

Angelo Boutalikakis is an external advisor at the Center for Future Readiness at IMD and a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of St. Gallen and a PhD from the University of Passau. After working on establishing the Center for Future Readiness and the Future Readiness Indicator as a Research Associate, he is now an external advisor at the center.
