Over the 8 weeks of courses, here's what you will learn:

Week 1: Discover

Discover how to use the program platform and dive into an analysis of power. Learn where power comes from, and how to translate it into status. Explore how to use power effectively as a leader – as a way to gain status and respect and most importantly, to lead others.

Week 2: Understand

Understand the core principles of influence and know when/how to use them most effectively. Reflect on the three categories of psychological influence and develop your usage of different tactics with other participants.

Week 3: Advance

Advance your awareness of your current power bases and influence behaviors, by better understanding your personality and how it influences your behavior. Connect with your personal coach to identify actions to build on your effectiveness as a leader.

Week 4: Gain

Gain the tools you need to understand how emotions can influence decision making. Examine the role of non-verbal behaviors such as facial expressions and body language in leadership and how you can use them as a way to enhance your leadership effectiveness.

Week 5: Develop

Develop your ability to give difficult feedback in order to foster the greatest growth and development from those you lead. Understand the differences between ongoing and formal performance feedback and improve your ability to deliver the latter.

Week 6: Acquire

Acquire tools for how to create an agile and creative team by fostering an environment of safety and strategic management of errors. Discover how extrinsic motivators, besides money, can be used to encourage creativity.

Week 7: Identify

Identify the ingredients needed to ensure that your team’s final product captures the talent of individual members, but also allows group synergies and diversity to shine through. Examine best practices for managing virtual teams or those which you’ve inherited.

Week 8: Reflect

Reflect on and formulate your core values to use as an on-going guide when confronted with difficult work and life dilemmas. Contemplate what gives your life meaning and how you can enhance this meaning to become a better leader.
