Center for Sustainable Business
The Center for Sustainable and Inclusive Business is a new addition to our global research activities at IMD. It was inaugurated in 2022 in response to the growing importance of sustainability as an essential element of strategy that is driving the transformation of business models and the roles of senior executives.
The center is led by Julia Binder, Professor of Sustainable Innovation and Business Transformation, and includes the Lundin Sustainability Chair and the Rio Tinto Chair in Stakeholder Engagement.
Sustainability has become a business imperative requiring collaboration and a clear roadmap for business transformation, and the Center aims to research and share innovative best practices that drive change toward a more sustainable and inclusive future for all. It will provide actionable thought leadership that enables organizations to harness opportunities and mitigate risks, based on responsible leadership and a systems approach engaging multiple stakeholders.
