Professor Bill Fischer
Driven to the Brink is a collection of short stories about corporate disasters and how inadequate governance and flawed culture caused a massive destruction of shareholder value. Its authors, Alicia Micklethwait and Patty Dimond, both IMD Alumnae, have drawn on in-depth studies of the Libor scandal, Olympus, Co-op, Kids Company and others, including various Chinese companies, to ask what has been learned and what can be done to prevent such disasters happening again. With Bill Fischer, IMD Professor of Innovation Management, who collaborated on the book particularly on the subject of China, they will share some of the findings of their research.
Generously hosted by CMS at their London headquarters, the talk will be followed by a reception with canapés.
