Smart Cities - How cities can shape their own future
Thursday, 10 October 6pm at Grosvenor, Mayfair
Around the world, the challenge of creating better cities grips the minds of leaders and the citizens who live in them. New technologies are enabling the spawning of smart cities, and underpinning radical experiments in urban planning, sustainable energy, and social integration, to name but a few.
In 2018, IMD launched the IMD Smart City Observatory to determine where the priorities of decision-makers should lie, and to identify the relative merits of various approaches. A global Smart Cities Index of 100 cities will be launched at the start of October.
Please join us for a panel discussion, facilitated by Professor Arturo Bris, showcasing the new Smart Cities Index, with a particular focus on London. Hosted by Grosvenor, the panel will feature experts including Sam Monger, Director of Strategy & Research for Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, Sam Hanes, Senior Director of Strategy & Innovation for Behavioural Insights Team and Andrew Roughan, Managing Director for Plexal.
