We know EMBA experience has impacted many alumni in different ways over time.
It also has had significant impact for the staff and faculty who have had the privilege to be associated with the EMBA, in very profound ways.
In this session I invite you to explore how the EMBA might have impacted and touched all our lives, individually and thematically.
15:00 – 15:30
From successful managerial career to the life as an entrepreneur
Jim Pulcrano, Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management in conversation with EMBA alumnus Thomas Agner Hansen.
When Thomas Agner Hansen graduated (with honors) from the EMBA in 2017 he had a secure and interesting senior role with A.P.Moeller, one of the world’s best run companies. But he also knew he wanted to do something more entrepreneurial and left Maersk to help scale up a start-up that IPOed in 2019. Trying to decide what to do next with his newly-found entrepreneurial superpowers, he received a call from a classmate who’d invested in a Kenyan tech startup that needed a CEO. And just as the pandemic started, Thomas took over the running of X-SolarSystems, with the goal of expanding across the African continent… and why not the world? Please join Prof. Jim Pulcrano as he tries to extract the key ingredients of Thomas’ success for all of us.
