IT Audio Visual Specialist

The Job’s mission

The IT Audio Visual Specialist is responsible to provide IMD Participants and Staff with best in class Audio Visual experience, reflecting the quality and standards IMD is recognised for.

He/She will work actively with stakeholders to design and build av installation, secure and prepare auditoriums and rooms. He/She will also provide assistance and guidance in programs and/or events as well as be responsible for the ordering and maintenance of Audio-Visual equipments.

 

Key activities & accountabilities

Auditorium, liVe rooms,  Conference & Study rooms support

We have 15 auditoriums (from 25 to 350 seats) all capable to be used in face to face, Virtual or Hybrid settings; 20 liVe and Conferening rooms as well as multiple Study rooms:

  • Daily checks to ensure auditoriums and rooms are fit and ready for use with a zero tolerance for material that is defect at the start of the program
  • Support videoconfering facilities, installation and web-based solutions (Zoom, Teams, Webex, X20, Miro, etc…)
  • Coordinate videoconfering requests
  • Manage videoconferencing solution and infrastructure

Provide AV support including:

  • AV equipment for loan
  • AV equipment installations for participant or staff use
  • Video-Conferencing
  • Training on the use of Audio Visual Equipment

Events support

  • Events co-coordination
  • Events Audio and Video management
  • Relation management with internal or external customer or contractors

Technological monitoring & Documentation

  • The AV Specialist is aware of new technologies and able to propose technical solutions to improve AV equipment and propose adequate solutions for business needs
  • Create, manage and publish AV  related documentation

AV supply management

  • Manage life cycle of the AV material
  • Ensure that supplies are in stock, clean and controlled and inventory is up to date
  • Manage purchase for AV related equipment (orders, quotes etc.)
  • Manage AV projects (transformation, construction, deployment, ..)

Ideal profile

Education & Experience
  • Technical CFC related to Audio-Visual or IT
  • 4 years experience in a audiovisual, with a strong experience in integration
  • Relevant experience in Events management, Regie management, Webinars & livestreaming support
Competencies
  • Resistant to pressure, Client Focused, Team player, Flexible, Autonomous
  • Meticulous and precise, Well organized, Multi-tasks oriented
  • Good level in English (B2)
  • Good level in IT required
